It connects the A Trabanca area (original neighbourhoods) where the Convent, Convento do Carme, and the fountain, Fonte do Carme, are found, with the historic district of Padrón. On the same street you can climb the stairs that lead to Monte San Gregorio, also known as Monte do Santiaguiño.
The opposite side, beside the igrexa de Santiago, was the location until the 19th century (1832) of Torre Moucha, whose name refers to its poor condition after the Irmandiña uprising in the 15th century (1476).
